Our company has since implemented a leaning procedure exactly as you have described. One that we already used for years in the multi engine aircraft, however it never transferred to the Warriors previously.

Leaning the engine properly prior to departure will solve this problem quite nicely. When doing touch and goes you spend a lot of time at low/idle power settings which results in cooler CHT's which isn't conducive to the atomization of the lead. By leaning you've raised the CHT's and provided a more efficient environment to burn all the fuel and prevent the build up of lead in the cylinder.

I had an experience with a fouled spark plug in a 152 at night about 15 miles from the airport. It definitely gets your attention! Anyway I found this on jetcareers and just thought I'd say that I enjoyed skimming through your blog.
